The Cult of the Sunny Jims. Hmmm, what to say about this ragged collection of society. They’re all good musicians and will follow me down whatever twisted musical path I choose.
The best part about playing with the Sunny Jims is the way they listen. I can change things on the fly, medley tunes together, play faster or slower, change accents, rhythms, or even songs, and they’re right there with me. Its amazing, and if you’ve never played with great improvisational musicians, none of this makes sense.
